REALM — group GPS tracking that connects people, not just devices.

REALM saw a market opportunity for a bespoke worldwide navigation aid — not just a location pin, but a way for groups to coordinate movement in real time. They came to Blameo for engineering and product execution.

We delivered the Realm-GPS Smart Tracker — a platform that lets users connect, communicate and verify each other's location on a virtual map:

  • Location verification. Instantly verify a user's location and help team leaders monitor group activity.
  • Pre-programmed SOS. One-tap SOS message that group members can send to the team leader when they need help.
  • Virtual geofences. Engineered fences that alert the group leader the moment a member steps outside the boundary.
  • Group push notifications. Send simultaneous notifications to multiple members via Socket.IO and Gimbal beacons.

Refer-A-Truck — a marketplace for freight loads and trucks.

The freight market has two perpetual problems: brokers and businesses with loads to move, and truckers looking for the right haul. Refer-A-Truck asked Blameo to build the referral system that connects them.

We shipped a responsive web platform that lets businesses post jobs and services, and lets truckers find appropriate runs — backed by two customised backend components so brokers and enterprise users get different views and capabilities.
